The inaugural symposium of the Franco-Australian Centre for Energy Transition (FACET) will be held on 28-29 October 2024, supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE).

Energy transition is critical for the future of sustainable living and a cleaner planet. The Franco-Australian Centre for Energy Transition (FACET) is dedicated to strengthening the bilateral relationship between Australia and France through deep collaboration in research, innovation, education, and training to drive the advancement of sustainable and net-zero energy initiatives.With a mission to achieve a cleaner and greener world, FACET is hosting an inaugural networking symposium focused on enhancing discussions and collaborations for energy transition between France and Australia. The event will feature industry and academic experts from France and Australia, covering key themes including new fuels, Artificial Intelligence, low-carbon energy production (such as solar/photovoltaics and hydrogen), supply chain decarbonisation and critical minerals. FACET aims to promote the wider adoption of sustainable energy solutions, bolster multilateral collaborations, and enhance education and training to drive a proactive climate change response agenda.We look forward to your attendance at this significant event.
