Pintxos of Science - Ethic in the time of Covid

During this challenging pandemic time, we are being bombarded with so many news. Do you find yourself questioning government decisions, people's actions on COVID prevention measures, vaccine performances and the merits of travel bans? If so, this is the event for you!


The topic of COVID and its Ethics, chaired by Mrs Inma Conde McAuley, will be discussed by 3 experts :


- Dr Francisco Esparraga, Senior Lecturer at the School of Law The University of Notre Dame, will present on ethical professionalism

- Dr Xavier Symons, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Plunkett Centre for Ethics, Australian Catholic University will talk on Travel bans and vaccine passports

- Dr Lai Heng Foong, BMBS, FACEM, MHS (International Health), BA(Hons) will present on Ethics in the time of Coronavirus


The discussions will be followed by a Q&A session, a ‘pintxo’ of paella and some vino.
