Subject: Computational study of the possible importance of a little-known effect for magnetic confinement of fusion plasmas


Project type: Full-time higher degree by research (PhD) - Candidate must be accepted as a UWA PhD candidate by the discipline of the Graduate School of Research: Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science


Supervisors: Dr. David Pfefferlé + 1 industry partner to be confirmed: Meranti Research Laboratories


Studentship: $48,600 per year for 3 years


Deadline: Expression of Interest - The goal is to begin in early 2024, subject to admission by the GRS
