Massive urbanization is transforming our territories at an unprecedented pace, putting increasing pressure on rivers and alluvial environments. These changes weaken water resources and pose major challenges in terms of resilience and adaptation to climate change.
To better understand these issues and explore concrete solutions, we are pleased to announce the launch of e-learning «Rivers and cities» on April 22, 2025. This online course was developed by H2O'Lyon with the support of ENS de Lyon, labEx IMU and the Chair Water for all.
On the agenda:
25 6-minute videos made by French and international researchers covering a wide range of disciplines (hydrology, hydraulics, ecology, geomorphology, sociology, law, political science)
Quizzes to test your knowledge and a forum
1 closing webinar
This free e-learning is aimed at students, professionals or just curious about these issues with a minimum of scientific knowledge.
