Animal Science Congress 2023 organised by EAAP, WAAP and Interbull

The 74th Annual Meeting of European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP), jointly organized with the World Association for Animal production (WAAP) and Interbull, will be held from 26th of August to 1st of September 2023, in Lyon, France.

The general topic of this Congress will be “Climate change, biodiversity and global sustainability of animal production”. Different sessions will be jointly organised between the EAAP, WAAP, Interbull and also other partners to cover various areas of knowledge related to animal science, such as genetics, nutrition, physiology, animal health and welfare.

AFRAN is funding a full day session to cover developments in carcase grading. This include taste quality, lean meat yield, health and provenance claims connected to high quality feedback of data to livestock preoducers and consumers underpinning value, efficiency and reducing waste.

The deadline for the abstract submissions will be March 1 2023
